Instructor
Keith Raistrick. Mr Raistrick has
been training in Martial Arts since 1984,
and not only training, he has been
actively competing in tournaments
throughout this time, and has been
successful on numerous occasions. He has
won British, Scottish, Welsh and North of
England Championships, was part of the
Five Nations International Team which won
a 3rd, and took a bronze in the 2002
World Championships in Miami.
He has also been the self-defence
instructor for Cumbria Police force,
being responsible for the training of all
the forces Police Officers in unarmed
combat, self defence and fitness.
Mr
Raistrick's schools are affiliated with
the T.A.G.B. (Tae Kwon-do Association of
Great Britain), which is Britain's
largest single Tae Kwon-do Association,
with over 20,000 members in over 350
clubs nationwide. The T.A.G.B. is
recognised by the British Tae Kwon-do
Council and the government Sports Council,
ensuring professional and safe tuition at
all times.
The T.A.G.B.
has a national belt system meaning that
whichever school you go to, be it at any
end of the country, you will be taught
the same syllabus and your belt colour
will be recognised.
Within
the T.A.G.B., regional, national and
international competitions are held on a
regular basis along with seminars taken
by international Martial Artists. This
gives T.A.G.B. members an ideal
opportunity to train with top Martial
Artists from all over the world.
